I get myself running!

I think it is time to share a little bit of true story from mine, before and after I get myself kicking with more running activities. Even I started not long ago like just a year, but I think can proudly recommend running to everyone. This story should be back to 5 years ago. I have come across some friend who always went for run and I don’t really understand why they can keep running, and I kept pushing away with some lame excuse which I don’t have much time for these target-less activity. That was a time when I still feel running is a boring thing to do in this world. “You just do nothing, but run.” 2 Years later, I started to have some run just to have a taste on the feeling for running. I was pushed by the weight I had to get myself a try on running, and it end up not positive as it is hard for me to understand on why people can enjoy running that time. This is partly because of my weight and I don’t really know how to enjoy run, 1KM considered a hard job for me. Don’t lau...

Yup, and always every single person will have a list of dream in their head. Which I think we need to get this list of dreams become goals and cleared with some corrective actions for that. I believe everyone have dreams, if you don’t have meaning you don’t really have a great childhood. :P Dreams are always referring to a list of thing you always thinking, imagining, and inspiring yourself as you know these are not something can achieve in a shorter period and always keep inside your mind as you need them to drive your life and keep going with your believe. Recently these dreams become something that bothered me quite some period of times, and I am thinking to convert it become goals and get it cleared. I think this is the aging impact that gets my head cracked. If you think this is impossible, let me explain to you one example:- Europe trip used to be one of my dreams when I was first graduated from university, and now I managed to convert it become a goal and get it cle...

Single point of failure

Just a little bit of background of myself, I started my working life as technical analyst then switch to programmer after 2 years, and my career path grow to become software development manager today. I have been working in an IT companies, from big to small enterprise and figure out most of the IT departments in Malaysia having the most people Single point of failures among departments. It is not so healthy for a company to have many SPOF in one department. Throughout my experiences, I managed to overcome this problem in my previous workplace provided the turnover rate is not high. I think most importantly is documentation for the system need to be solid, I personally think some of the company not willing to spend money getting the product stable with better documentation. This will cause the system will only rely on a single person as product will customize and getting lots of enhancement on it. Secondly will be the process management, and some of the IT department don’t...

Bad day or good?

Have you ever get this feeling? Early morning when you wake up from your roller coaster sleep and you always stuck with the feeling that you want to do something different today. So, you decided to take another route to the office and as usual stuck in the bad traffic jam for 1 hour. By that time, you started mumbling at yourself as you had try something different which not really right, and still doubt about taken a new route was a correct choice. Then you came into office with some cheerful greeting among your colleague and realized that they gossip about you which you act differently today.  Another knock into what you have did, and you start to look at the workload and keen to clear up some tasks and you spent 8 hours in the office to get it done. By end of the day, you get another new long list of work by your boss and that can really “make your day”. You left office late and stuck into a bad traffic jam towards home. And you finally can enjoy your dinner at 9PM which ...

Sir Alex Ferguson in my memory

In 1990, when I came to the age that know football was a wonderful sport. I started to learn on 2 wonderful football clubs (Manchester United and Kedah FC) in this world which inspired me on personal hobby in football. Let’s talk about Kedah before we get into Manchester United. Kedah won 1990 Malaysia cup and we won Malaysia League by 1992, and I was very amazed with the team performance and sooner become sad on the match-fixing scandal which happen in Malaysia. By then I switched my love to focus on Manchester United and kept my hobby alive till today. My loves to football still stay strong with Manchester United styed clean with the team spirit that formed in this team. I still remember when SAF sold Dutch central defender Jaap Stam was sold to Lazio in 2001, and that was the time I hated SAF the most because I worried the team will lost in the year with lost one of the finest defenders in the world and eventually lost the league title on the year. But he manag...
